Let Gayatri Nair, Director of Education at the Chennai Photo Biennale Foundation take you through a carefully curated Dialog session on Placemaking and Storytelling.
Chennai Photo Biennale takes visual art and photography to new publics, both people and places. As a founding Trustee, she heads the children's programming that includes photography workshops, building an arts curriculum, and creating a community of young artists, learners, and photographers.
Join us to interact with leading pioneers and changemakers in the field of storytelling & Placemaking.
To unpack these explorations of art in the digital age, BeFantastic is hosting a panel conversation between the Geographer-at-Large Eames Demetrios and artist/designer Jack Hardiker, moderated by Gayatri Nair (founder of the Chennai Photo Biennale). The conversation centers around these questions:
How can a tangible process such as placemaking be reimagined in this digital era?
How can technology be used to enhance storytelling experiences, and what role does storytelling have in ‘placemaking’ with communities?
We are inviting the Kcy Community and Friends to come together with us on September 2nd for this very special conversation between the Geographer-at-Large Eames Demetrios and artists Gayatri Nair and Jack Hardiker.
Dive in with us as we share in the trio’s discourse on storytelling and placemaking, using art and technology as the vehicles.
